CHOP SHOP festival scholarships provide full access to the CHOP SHOP Master Class Series + festival performance! Six scholarships are awarded annually to intermediate and advanced level dancers ages 12 and up, providing recipients with free tuition to the full Master Class Series and a complimentary ticket to the CHOP SHOP:  Bodies of Work festival performance of their choice.

DEADLINE EXTENDED: All applications must be received by 11.59pm (PT), Sunday, February 2, 2020. All applicants will be notified of scholarship application decisions by Sunday, February 9, 2020. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Applicant Information:  Name, current age, years of dance training, and email address.

  • Letter of Interest (1,000 characters max.):  What motivates you to dance and what impact would a CHOP SHOP scholarship create for you?

  • Video (1 min. 30 sec. max.):  A link to a short video of you dancing, in a style of your choice. You may share the video with us using the platform of your choice, including YouTube, Vimeo, Dropbox, Instagram, Facebook, etc. Videos may be password protected if you prefer not to post publicly.

  • Ticket Choice:  Your date preference for the complimentary CHOP SHOP 2020 festival performance ticket.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS: 11.59pm (PT), Sunday, February 2, 2020.

NOTIFICATION: All applicants will be notified of the status of their application by Sunday, February 9, 2020.
